My design is, more or less, based on a cross between a rat rod and a Locost 7 with some structural cues taken from the Factory 5 '33.  Using Sketchup and a few reference cars, I've put together a plan for the build.  My goal is to build a "rat rod" on a tube frame using the sub frame from a mazda RX8 and a Lexus 4 liter V8 for the power plant.  I know you American muscle guys just threw up in your mouth a little... get over it. For me, this process isn't about specifying so much is it is about flexibility and sticking to personal tastes.
