Cleaning Up the OEM Frame Components

As an ongoing part of the build, I'm cleaning up the parts of the original sub-frame that will remain part of the finished space-frame.  Since the original frame consist of stamped steel components all shaped and tacked together, there are several holes and gaps that need to be patched and painted for waterproofing reasons.  Many of these components were protected from the elements in the original car.
Here I've started using 1/8" plate to cover the larger holes in the to of the frame.  Eventually this plate will be the base for the L shaped pushrod suspension lever:


Here are a few quick shots of grinding down the leftover bits from plasma cutting out the subframe:




Not too much interesting today, more later though...
