My New Lensbaby

I've wanted one of these for a while and now that I have one I can see why they're so popular. A little bit strange and hard to get used to, they offer a way to get down and dirty with the manual aspect of digital photography. It's nice to get away from the super multi-coated thousand dollar homogeneous lens once and a while and play with the medium of optics. I have yet to get the Lensbaby to do exactly what I want, but I've gotten some fun images and I think, with a little practice, I'll be able to achieve some more refined work. I've been wanting a tilt shift lens for architectural shots and some more creative stuff reminiscant of The Bitter Girls work, but the price is prohibitive. Lensbaby seems to be doing the trick for me so far, at least until I can get a little cash saved up.

These are all just shots around the house, the weather has been dismal and there's been no chance for outdoor shooting...
