The shots for today are of my family, so of course I'm quite proud. These were lit with my same 24" soft box and a large umbrella. The trick is always controlling light, and wit only 2 small flashes, that's a challenge. The umbrella is usually low power just giving fill to the bodies and backdrop while the softbox gives me a nice punchy look to my face light. Nothing spectacular here, but I am getting good soft light with just a little attitude where I need it.
I especially like this one. I don't think they have ever had a shot like this done of just the two of them, I love being able to show somebody how great they look; that's the power of a good portrait:
