A Bit Of Architectural Photography

Part of what I do on the side is architectural photography. Having my formal education and practice in architecture, it is one of the aspects of photography I enjoy most. Buildings have a life and photographic approach all their own, and though at first glance seem to be static; they are one of the most challenging and dynamic subjects to photograph.

This project shown here is the Blue Cross Blue Shield headquarters in Dallas. Though still under construction, I was able to get a few shots off.

The project employs a large wall of "fins" that act as a security barrier dividing the main lobby. Each fin in over twenty feet tall and supports a screen mesh.
